I currently use Mothers Chrome Polish to clean the chrome lip of my rims...but it is such a pain in the *** to do by hand.

Are there any tools, such as Mothers Power Ball, that are safe to polish chrome with?

 

The PowerBall is *ok* in my opinion. It may be just what you are looking for since it does the polishing for you. You will still need to wipe the polish residue off though.

My advice: Polish your wheels well, top with Zaino or a synthetic paint sealant; no wax. Your wheels will have great durability against the elements and require only weekly washes/wipe down.
