Whats your .02 on it. I was thinking of doing a 30% all around.

 

That's really your own preference. Someone here could like using 15% all around while others would prefer 55% all around. Just figure out what you like. Keep in mind that the darker interiors would make the shade of tint slightly darker than it would on a lighter colored interior car.

Im getting my windows tinted next saturday so im just doing some research before i go so i dont spend that much time there and i can star driving

 

i personally will be getting tint for a little of both look and keeping my car cool since i live in a relatively hot area in the winter.. i don't like looking out at night and seeing all black, so i'm probably gonna do 55% black on the DG.. though i'm a chrome fan, i think it would clash with the silver/grey color of the DG

 

I did 30% all the way around and am happy with it. It's illegal here in NJ to do anything to the driver/passenger window but 30% is dark enough to make the interior cooler and light enough so the polizei can see in. No one really talks about you seeing out but limo tint really makes it difficult to see out at night.

I say 30-35%. Also.. remember if you have a black interior the tints will look alot darker then they really are.

Personally I don't like dark tints. I want to do 30% on my black / willow Gcoupe.

I have 30%, I think it just looks classier then darker tint but it's dark enough to keep your G cool.

gto2050, have you had any encounters with the cops here in NJ? Have you had any incidents with respect to your tint? I am thinking of going 35%, but I am worried about the cops. Don't want to give them another reason to stop me.

38% on the sides and 30% on the rear windshield, on my DP/willow sedan. Works great in the FL sun, and I like it!

I have DP and have platinum tint (I think between 30-35% all around). See below or click on my name to see more pics. The picture doesn't look nearly as good as it really does in person. Some people on this forum commented that they do not like how the platinum tint highlights the factory black triangle in the rear side windows, but it doesn't bother me at all. If you go with smoke or black tint and keep it "legal" in the door windows (above 35%), I would go slightly darker in the rear windows. Good luck!
