Hey guys, I just recently bought my 04 coupe and it had a little dirt on it when I bought it, so I just thought it needed to be washed. It turns out on my side skirt there are dirst streaks under my clear coat that will not come off. what should I do? Any advice would be awesome. thanks

hmm.. go to a shop and see if they can wetsand it down to get rid of it.. good luck

 

If the clear coat appears ‘cloudy’ or opaque, try applying isopropyl alcohol (IPA) to the area, allowing it to dwell for five to ten minutes and with a heat gun or hair dryer, heat the area (do not exceeding 100oF spot temperature) the IPA acts as a "drying" agent, and when combined with the heat the moisture will evaporate
