Porter Cable Polisher
Anyone in the GTA or Golden Triangle (Southern Ont) hook me up with a 'Porter Cable' Random Orbital Polisher?
Home Depot can get a #7424(with no kit) for $240, or a #7424 Ultimate with kit for $330 special order!
Compared to say Ryobi at about $50, that's high.[img]/w3timages/icons/mad.gif[/img]

Hey gsedanman, I know properautocare.com ships to Canada, but don't know how much it would be for them to ship it. You should give them a call. Their Ultimate is $149.

$119 USD at Coastal Tools. These folks are great - I've gotten several things there.

I saw that Cdn. Tire had the Simoniz® Polisher, 10" on special this week for $60
10" random orbit polisher/waxer
Double-ring handle with on/off switch gives added control when waxing or polishing
Friction-resistant 10" cushioned foam pad is ideal for trim work and curved panels
High-impact, heat-resistant ABS housing for added strength

Also, I saw a 6" Simoniz® Cordless random-orbit polisher for $90 at Cdn. Tire that looked very eary to use, epecially in hard to reach places.

I've seen the cheaper polishers there too, and they're probably very good. But it's reckoned that the P/Cable is the best of the best. I guess it should be--it's 4X the price!!!!!!. I think in the long term, it'll be a good investment. Built to last.

Hey bro thanks for the breakdown. Do they also sell the kits to go with the polisher(s).
Seems to me Home Depot had the same polisher for less, but not sure now because of included kits. I'll have to check them out again.

I have a pritty good one when i get home will post the name of it but wow your car looks so damn amazing after you gone over it witht the orbital. Just remember to make sure it is a randomized orbital that way it wont heat up and burn your paint
