The Absorber

FTW!! .

IMO, its the best drying PVA chamois ever...i even prefer it over regular chamois and microfiber cloth. It holds soo much water that it only took me one wipe through the entire car and its already beganning to dry. I love this thing and have been using it for years, why no one mention about this product? You guys should check it out if you haven't already.

The issue with the absorber is that is has no nap to it or texture like a plush MF or waffleweave MF, so if there is even a spec of dirt on the paint, you will rub it into the paint and cause swirling. MF's help prevent this to some extent with their fibers. This is the reason I prefer using these to a product like the absorber or Cali blade. If you've are satisfied with the results and wash your cars meticulusly then you might be okay.

The Scootch Method

I have a shammy and i love it,

Usally ill use the spray wax that your spray on when its wet and then shammpy the whole car "top to bottom, not bottom to top as the bottom of the rockers and bumpers get grimmy so i do those last" to get 95% of the water off
&
Then I fine tune her with 2 micro fiber clothes and then use a cotton circle pad for my wheels and exhaust tips "wheels first, IMO"

Yea Baby!

Here are some random pix of my car after she is clean man look at her shine

Even used some spray wax in my engine bay along with easy cut metal cleaner/polish by: Britema and this stuff really does a great job on polished/metal/aluminum parts or anything metal

The best thing that I have ever used to dry my car is a waffleweave dehydrating MF towel. I won't use anything else now.

^+1 I used to dry with a chamois. Now I find the waffleweave so much better. The key for me is to hose down at the end without the spray nozzle to sheet most of the water off. With that down one towel easily dries the whole car.
