Zaino in Winter?

Everybody-

I've got a question about the application of Zaino in the winter. From the instructions, it says that you can apply the polish down to 45 degrees (although it will take a long time to dry). Does this apply to the usage of the ZFX as well? I was under the impression that when using ZFX, drying times were almost negligable. If anyone has any experience let me know!

Re: Zaino in Winter?

I Zaino'd the G for the 1st time a couple of weeks ago when it was in the low 20's outside. I used ZFX too...took about 15 - 20 min. to dry. Washed & 2 coats of Zaino in 2 .5 hrs.

Re: Zaino in Winter?

Blitz-

Yeah...finally got it! Right now it's sitting in my garage as we're getting pounded with freezing rain...arg! I drove it for a bit last weekend and it is definitely everything I was hoping for...and more! What a blast!

I'm going to have to wait until it's at least above freezing around here because it's just too cold to wash the car, let alone wax it. Once I can comfortably wash it...I'll Zaino it. For now, I thought that if I drove it, I'd stop at a local car wash on the way home, and use the manual sprayer to just clean the dirt and salt off before I put it away. I did this on Sunday and it worked really well!

Re: Zaino in Winter?

I've had a brand new Zaino kit sitting in my basement for over a month now. TFC to do anything with water outside. Spring is coming.

I used the Zaino under 20 degree also. My hand was frozen when I try to aplly the second coat. It works well I think.
