rear tint and defrost *starring* effect

i had my G35c tinted with Solarguard charcol 20% tint, and even after 2 weeks, at night there is a severe problem of lights from behind causing a vertical "starring"" effect up and down the defrost lines. Anyone else have this happen ?

I think it's the same thing, it's just something you have to get used to, my last car had the defrost too, and it did it, the G seems worse because it also has the antennae in the glass!, Tint is funny sometimes, I see some "things" in mine at certain light angles, but they don't show up to the eye if you take it back, they couldn't see anything, and niether could I at that time, geez!

If you're talking about light refraction right at the defroster lines then you're talking about something that is inherent to tint on the rear glass. Tint doesn't sit well on top of the line because the line actually pushes the tint up, which then causes light refraction during night time. This effect is compounded mainly @ night because the only light source hitting the rear glass are the headlights of cars behind us. It may take time to get used to, but w/ the right type of tint, this effect may not be as serious as others. (Go w/ Madico, Llumar, or Solargard)

You too?

I got mine this past Saturday. Was driving at night and something seemed odd. Then I realized it and its DAMN annoying. Plus now I cant see cars approaching from behind real well to see if its a cop.

Oh well. I'd be pissed but...oh well I guess.
