wait to zaino?
I'll be getting my new coupe tomorrow, hopefully, and want to try my luck with Zaino. I've never used the product before but from the pics and reviews, it seems like it's (arguably) the best way to go. I'll be getting the starter kit off of zainobros.
My question is, how long should I wait before I use the zaino on a new car? I've heard that one should wait a few months to let the paint fully cure, if it hasn't already.
Is there a lot of rubbing and buffing that might hurt the finish with zaino? I want to get a good protective layer right away but not at the expense of possibly hurting the car. What do you guys think?

Re: wait to zaino?
No need to wait. Your paint has had plenty of time to cure since it was laid on in Japan. It's still recommended to clay bar even thought it's brand new. You'll be surprised at how much crap is in your paint. You actually don't have to rub or buff as hard with zaino since it's a chemical bond not a physical bond. Go for it.

Put it this way... your dealership is going to wash and wax the car before you drive it off the lot, right?

Hey puff,
I'm sure they've already washed it but I wonder how many dealerships will actually spend the time and $ to wax a new car. You're probably right though.

They probably have like a TurtleWax Wax/Wash combo from Wal-mart that they use.
But, I Dawn'd, then Zaino'd the weekend after I got my G. No need to cure. Haven't used a claybar, but I think I"ll try when the weather gets better.
