New way of cleaning windows

If you're like me, you have 10 different window glass cleaning products that don't work. Well today I tried some new stuff and found something that worked.

This was done with Soft Scrub. It's better to only clean small areas at a time. This stuff dries into a powder if left out too long so just take your time.

I think the point of the picture is that there are no waterspots on the left side of the picture. This is because he treated the left side with Soft Scrub.

I believe Soft Scrub has bleach in it. So, I might be a little nervous about using it on my car. A good glass polish will give you the same results without the risk of bleach.

^ What he said. Sorry, I normally don't post pictures cause I suck at taking them. But most people want to see them.

The Soft Scrub I am using actually contains no bleach. And I did not find it difficult to keep it off the paint.

But just thought I'd share my experiences with anyone else who was having a hard time getting water spots off.

I used clay bar the other day and it cleaned everything right off.

There was a thread about this but I could not find it to post this up.

So try clay bar. It works great. And you can do the entire window if you like at once.

I tried that before but it didn't seem to pick anything up

I bought Mother's Clay Bar awhile back and I don't think it does anything (in fact I think it's silly putty rebadged). Is there a specific clay bar that I need to be using?

The Soft Scrub I used was Soft Scrub Lemon. It contains no bleach. I wouldn't suggest cleaning your car with it but it definitely works for windows.

I used Mothers clay bar kit that I bought at Shucks Auto Parts.

I did not pay attention to that

I was happy with my windshield finally being clear.
