i get home from work early yesterday and decide to wash my car. it is one of the nicest days out. great breeze and 79 degrees out. so i wash it and dry it. it has been a moth or two since i polished it with Klasse AIO so i decide to use my Sonus Acrylic sprits to add more shine. so after spending a good 2 hours on my car i pull it in the garage. i wake up this morning to get ready for work and to my suprise it is reaining, not pouring just enought to soak all the streets. so by the time i get to work my car is covered in dirty street water from cars in front of me! i should of called in sick!

where did you buy your car cause i live in coconut creek and they give free hand car washes as long as you got you car from the life of the car. i got my car a week ago and had it washed 3 times already

 

i bought it at Scott Infiniti (now broward infiniti) 2 novembers ago. as far as infiniti of coconut creek's hand washes they washed my car once and never again. the dealers tend to do a half A$$ job on the cars especially on the rims.

 

'Got mine at Coc. Creek too. No problems with their car washing, as of yet, but I don't know if I want to keep trusting other people to washing my baby. I usually do it myself... I hear ya on the weather though. There was no word of any rain in the forecast yesterday and I'm driving towards US 1 in the evening and it starts sprinkling!? 'Looks like it rained harder overnight too. Now I'm torn between cleaning it up for one night (Friday) only for it to get rained on again tomorrow.

coconut creek really does a nice job i tip the guy 5 bucks and i never have a problem he takes his time with the rims and tires i love it i think i will go again today cause it has rained on and off today

I just moved from Miami to DC, and I'd take Miami any day. You don't have to worry about road salt, ice patches, and pot holes the size of kiddy pools. These things tend to ruin your day more than some dirty water on your freshly washed car.

 

docmassage, I am with you. The poor G has been stuck in the garage most of the winter, here in NJ. Even when the roads are dry, there is still a coating of salt powder. Hopefully, with all this rain, the roads will be back to normal. Can't wait for the Spring!
