Then if that happen. I guess I would rinse it and then put it in the Garage.

I have the kit and use it for all of my cars, including my exotics.

You can feel the difference in water quality. I use the system with pressure washer and it makes detailing my cars much easier.

It is well worth the money. (I use the washer in combination with Xymol and you cannot beat it.)

Bump to bring back an old thread. Anyone else have experience with this system? I am thinking about buying one.

I'd like to get one of those, I saw Costco had a good price on them last month. De-i water is great for washing the car. I too would like to hear someone's experience with one of these.

water in buckets?

Hey,

So i just bought the crspotless sytem. I was wondering what water people use when they do the two bucket wash system? Do you use the regular water from your hose to fill the bucket or the water from the filter or does it matter? I assume the water from the crspotless system will wash away the unfiltered water if you use the regular water from the hose. Thanks!

I would just use normal water for the wash and use the CR for final rinse.

troubleshooting

Hey Guys,

So I was trying to install my crspotless system but there seemed to be water flowing out of the one of the big blue containers. The other big blue container (that contain the cartridges) seemed fine. I believe I put in the cartridge correctly into the big blue container (the spiderweb looking portion is on the bottom). This is for the DIC-20 if that is any help. Does anybody know what I may have done wrong? Thanks.

Did you make sure everything was tight enough? I heard they have to be very tight.

Okay, lets bring this thread back once again. I decided to buy one of these, the price from Costco is pretty good, plus it gives you two extra resin packages. I figure if it cleans 300 gallons, and you use a pressure washer, based on what I use with my pump sprayers, one charge should last close to a year. I haven't got it yet, just ordered it today, I plan on buying a pressure washer to use with it too. I have completely washed my car with de-i water using the pump sprayers for a long time now, not just the final rinse, our water is too hard and the low humidity here, it dries too fast, and if washed with tap water, and just rinsed with de-i, I can see it in my glass. Also, I figure if I use a nearby self serve car wash, it usually costs me $7 to wash the car, and I use only the spot free rinse, so this way, I won't have to deal with muddy wash bays, bays that someone left the soap running, and hurrying to wash the car. Hard water sucks, I'm sure your water in Phoenix is as bad as it is here. Plus, this will come in handy for washing the windows in my house too, I do use de-i for that as well!

Yea, I got mine from Costco too since it was a great deal. Everything was working fine until recently. I've only had it for about 2 and a half months (11-12 washes) and it started to leave spots on the car. The meter still reads under 20 so I don't know what the problem is. Maybe time to change the resin? No biggies since I just use my quick detailer to wipe those spots off. I just found it strange since the meter still reads under 20.

Are you regulating the flow rate using the setting on the nozzle that comes with it or using a pressure washer? If the flow rate is too fast, it could leave spots. I'm planing on buying a pressure washer to use with mine. Also, perhaps you could contact CR Spotless and ask them. Also, if quick detailer took off the spots, they may not be hard water spots, that won't remove hard water spots.

Yea, I figured since the quick detailer took em off, they weren't hard water spots. I regulate the flow rate on the nozzle and use the recommended rate ( i think it was straight, I can't remember). I sent them an email, just waiting to hear back. I don't know what happened, it was working perfectly until about 2 washes ago.
