Let us know what you find out about this. I am planning on using mine with a pressure washer, which it says uses 1.4 gpm.

I'm going to order one in a few weeks.
That's not bad, and bit less because it's smaller. I tried using a water softening filter, but wasn't happy with that, don't know what to do with that filter now, so I was still washing with bottled de-i water.

So they called me back via phone and couldn't figure out what the problem was. They told me to change out the resin and see if the problem continues. If it did, they told me to give them call. When you first operate the meter, it reads 0 (like 95% of the time, which it did). Then, once it reads anything but zero, the numbers will change rapidly until it gets to 20, then the water spots will come. So, I'm thinking maybe my meter broke or something. I will give it a wash this weekend with the new resin so hopefully it works.

What did they say about the number of washes you got out of the resin? Do you spend a lot of time washing the car? Just asking because like I said, I've been using de-i water for some time now, buying it in gallons and using a garden sprayer. It takes me 4-6 gallons per wash, and with that figure, they say 300 gallons, well, that should last close to a year at the rate I've used it. I have learned how to conserve the water the way I've been using it, hopefully it will continue with.

Okay, a question in regard to this system since you also have the Costco system, DIC-20. Anyway, the bags of resin that come with it, does it take both bags to refill, or one? I'm assuming one bag for each cartridge, but can't find that anywhere in my instructions.

One bag refills one of the blue bins. So, I changed the resin and went back to being spotless again. I only use the CRSspotless for the final rinse now where before I would use it as a pre-rinse and final rinse.

That may be the best to do. I bought a pressure washer to use with mine, waiting for a day with no rain to try it all out. The pressure washer uses 1.6 gpm, so that too should helpt it last. I also bought quick connect fittings for all my stuff, so that too might make it easier to do the regular water wash/final rinse with the de-i. Hope I get a day I can try this soon! How did you dispose of the old resin?

I just put it in a bag and threw it away as the instructions say. I need to order more resin for next time!

I used mine for the first time last night, works great, and with the pressure washer, there was very little water running down the driveway, nice!
