not bad with the lighter % on a silver.....but i saw a black today with it and it looked terrible IMO.

03 6MT coupe, red/willow, premium, aero, splash guards, alum pedals, clear corners, 15% tint

 

I have black, and I think the best tint for black is a tint that looks pretty much black from the outside. I haven't done this to my car yet because the cops in my city of residence are totally ****. When I go to college, I'm going to get the tint right away.

Black / Black 2004 GcoupeMT. Premium. Splash Guardz.

 

Honestly, it depends on the install job. If it looks pretty bad, then likely it's the shop or installer that screwed up. This is Johnson Window Films that I installed on a customer's coupe several days ago. These pics were right taken the same day of the tint job.

mirror tint on our G's doesnt look right..the rear side window outlines that are black make the beast look cheap with mirror...good old dark black tint is the best IMO....i went with 2% all the way around.
