The cleaner doesn't smell but the conditioner does. But it won't stay, it will go away. Also after conditioning the leather. Trying getting some 303 AP and spray that on the leather. So it's shining (Or dilitued 1;10 for matted finish) and protected.

 

+1 for 303, but it shouldn't be diluted, a matte finish is easy to get by just using less. Also don't apply any products directly to the leather, spray onto applicator or towel, and then spread onto the leather for a much more uniform finish.
