Here are something's that might work:
Touch paint (color of the car)
Wetsand paper (1500-3000)
Highspeed rotary

+1. it's worth a short even on the 9 footer. But this should only be done if you have had experience wetsanding or using a Rotary.

Its a colossal 9 ft scratch and down to the metal Doubt it'll work.

If your insurance deductible isn't too high, go through your insurance. Not sure if it would raise your rates at all (although, it probably would, because everything seems to) but a friend of mine used to own a 2002 323ci and after it was keyed his insurance paid for a full repainting of the car. It would have run him well over $2K and I think his deductible was only $250.

The justification of repainting the entire car was that after a few years of sun fading the paint it would have been difficult to only paint the panels that had been keyed.

Good luck. And if all else fails, or, just for payback, put a tiny pebble you can find in any old parking lot in each of his valve stems and screw the cap back on. The air will slowly leak out and in a matter of hours he'll be stranded with four flat tires. Not that I've ever done that to repay a dinged door or anything...
