Scuffed rear end =(

I am so frustrated...my car has been going through some rough times body-wise ever since I brought my car down to ATL. Before I brought it down from Ohio the body was pristine, no rock chips or scratches...can't say the same about it now.

/start rant
I got large (not small) rock chips in various places and on my wipers! Large enough to show the whiteness. The first real damage was the curb rash, second the door ding on the passenger side, third the right corner front lip scuffed up by concrete (not sure where) which shredded some of the plastic off, fourth the left corner front lip scuffed up but not as bad and now I just scuffed up the rear end because some idiot left his plastic garbage bin lying on the ground in front of the driveway! I couldn't see it because the driveway is uphill going reverse and the next thing I know, I nailed it. I thought I hit a mailbox or something. I was actually very cautious when going reverse on this driveway...
/end rant

Okay, now I have this major scuff in the rear where everyone can see...just great...I don't think the scuff marks are deep enough, would a polish take care of it? I was thinking of just taking an entire day and buy a PC or Dual Action Polisher and run it through the entire car...

I'm ****, I got a black car...what can I say, it upsets me when these things happen...

Try a compound with your hand or if you get the pc with a orange pads or yellow pad to remove the scuff marks

if u can feel the scratches..then polishing is not guna do anything. you'll prob need a repaint or you can use touch up paint if you can live with that. if you run your nails across the scratches and you can't feel anything..then you're good to go with a pc/polish and it'll come right off

Thanks everyone, luckily I can't feel the scratches...it's just a blurry scuff and very light micro marring. Good thing the garbage bin was plastic, I guess it's time for the PC!
