It'll strip your car down to bare metal in a blink and I don't even have a very strong pressure washer.Anyway, I try to avoid touchless washes mostly for the reasons TOGWT gives. I use a rinseless wash in my garage during winter months instead.
I used the Touchless car washes pretty often for my cars when we were under tough water restrictions until it scraped the hell out of my front wheel on my TL. Never have gone back to an automatic car wash. I rather pay some guy $10 to wash it if it's really really bad.

no touchless carwashes for me and sometimes i will go months without washing my car (by hand duh..) because im lazy...
