doesn't sound like you did any permanent damage. you'll do fine with a porter cable. it is almost impossible to burn through paint or leave swirl marks with a random orbital buffer.

haha, congrats man - i had the same idea. bought a bunch of stuff from detailed image for an early christmas present. very happy w/ everything and i'll be back for more! those guys rock!

Its all gravy, once my equipment arrives here, ill make sure to do every step to the tee and hopefully my car will be better than brand new
