Best Carwashing Products and Supplies???

Hey Everyone,

I want to know what the best cleaning/washing products are for the my 08' G35 Platinum Graphite sedan.

I washed my car yesterday for the first time with Meguiar's Deep Crystal Car Wash. It's purple in color and it cost about 6 or 7 bucks. Although the car looked really nice after I cleaned it, it didn't have that shine or that waxed look which I have heard other car-wash products are able to give.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Waxing a car after washing it takes a really long time. I know Meguiar's is a really good brand. Maybe I need to go for a more expensive product.

The Megs deep crystal car wash is pretty good, but to get that waxed look your going to need to actually wax your car...

I have an Obsidian black G.
No matter how well I dry it, some streaks or water beads always show.
After drying I use a microfiber cloth and Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer.
Just spray a light mist and wipe.
The whole car takes about 6 minutes.
It has properties similar to a wax and aids in repelling water.
The shine is slick and mirrory.
Only the best for my G.

I for one have never used any type of car wash or soap of any kind on my cars, I only use a car wash for my wheels and tires. I have not had any streaks or spots on my Black Obsidian either, soap is the culprit in that from my experience! (and believe me, I've been around a while, LOL)

I have been using Zaino Car Wash (Z7) followed by the Zaino Gloss Enhancer Spray (Z6) after I have dried it. It really seems to do a nice job and always has a nice shine when finished.
I started using these products because of reccomendations from others on this site whose vehicles always look pristine

You can use a sprays wax right after you rinse the car.

Check out Adam's supplies-

http://www.adamspolishes.com/

I use his car wash soap, detail spray, glass cleaner and VRT for the tires. It is all great stuff.

In the winter I just go through a car wash, then do a quick job with detail spray afterward - it comes up great.

Just water, and then rinse with de-ionized water.

Doesn't that create huge swirls by just dragging the dirt across your car with no shampoo protection to glide it? And your car is black??? ABQ you've got me baffled...I have to admit...
