Cleaning/protecting Wood in 07 G

Have you guys found anything special to clean the wood trim in the G? Ive never had real wood in a car before and i dont know if there is a special car product i should buy? Or pledge? Something else around the house work better? Im not really sure what direction to go. Any input will be great.

Thanks in advance..

I know collinite 845 or KAIO you can use on wood to protect it and I think a 1:30 dilute ratio of simple green should be use to clean it.

I used pledge once already and didnt mind the smell. It faded in a week anyways. Good call on the simple green but will using that make the wood smell like it? Because thats one smell i really cannot stand!

The Method "Wood For Good" stuff is fantastic and it smells slightly of almond, it almost makes you want to eat your trim.

I myself would just use a warm damp towel to clean with simple green and then another damp towel to clean the simple green off. Cause I know simple green smell goes away.

Im gonna get a bottle of this. Almond smell sounds good. What kind of a finish does this leave? Glossy? Nothing? Semi gloss? Thanks for the tip.

Certainly nothing liking pledging a table, since the original finish of the wood is matte. Just makes it look sparkly clean, new, and smelling like heaven.
