Cleaning and proper upkeep for overlays?

Hello All,

I am going to be getting some bat overlays very soon and did a search but didn't see anything exactly specifying how to clean (wash) and keep your overlay in tip top condition. I know there are several on the forum who have them and just wanted to get some tips so I know what I am in for. Thanks in advanced!

Don't use any bug and tar remover next to it. Wash with a sheepskin and good car wash soap with the 2 bucket method. To polish and protect it use plastix or plexus and a sealant if you want.

Thanks! Does anyone else have any other tips for their overlay upkeep?

bump

My roof overlay seems to have permanent water spots and looks dank. I've only used soap & water, as I didn't know what could and couldn't be used on these things. Does anyone know what could get that **** out? Otherwise this sucks! haha
