I used Zaino Z2 for a while and started using Wheelwax. The wheelwax is far superior for longevity and repelling brake dust.

I love the Poorboy's Wheel Sealant. It is easy to use and allows me to just was my wheels as part of my car wash. Sometimes I prep the wheels with AIO before using the Poorboy's.

Wheel wax....!

I used the actual Wheel wax for a couple years going thru a can. I did get
tired of that thin wax getting between some areas of my wheels that I had
to fight to remove. So I went to my fridg where I keep my good wax (Zymol)
and started using some of my older wax with an applicator. I really like the
results better with my Zymol paste wax!

I agree that it is hard to get the Wheelwax out of the crevices for sure. But I have not found anything to compare to the results of Wheelwax or Poorboys Wheel Sealant.
I will give Zymol a shot sometime

As long as they are clear coated (most are); you can use any carnauba wax. I would personally go with a sealant since you can layer (I am not sure if wheel wax is a pure wax) and always put a wax ontop of it as well. 3 layers of a good sealant topped with a good wheel wax would make brake dust no sweat.
