Water Dripping - Outside Mirrors

Hello All,

After washing my car, there's always water dripping from the outside mirrors. I was wondering what the best product is to dry up the water so it won't drip after you finished washing the car! I've tried searching and this looks like it might work. Let me know what everyone else does!

Somethign like that is going to be your best bet for sure. Lots of people use leaf blowers, but this looks like the same deal but says its more powerful? Inexpensive too...nice find!

i would just stick the corner of an Absorber drying cloth or chamoise at the bottom or use a electronic aerosol duster to blow it out. it's not THAT much water to splurge on a leaf blower.

Like everyone said. Lead blowers, Compress air in a can or from your compressor would work. But the leaf blowers are going to be the best to dry the car and blow water out of the crevices.

When I was getting it free, I was using the compressed air in a can that you usually see computer techs with. I attached the little straw on the nozzle head and it fit inside the mirror housing and blew it out before I dried off the rest of the car. Now I'm using the chamois and soaking up as much as possible. It does suck after you've detailed the car to have the water drip out of the mirror housings and down the side of the car.

Imulion, I like the gadget you found. That'll work on the trunk area too that always leaks after a wash.

Wrap the mirrors with Saran wrap or a baggy tied with an elastic band before washing

+1 on leafblowers. Works well for door handles, rims, tires, gas door and under the edge of the trunk too.

People have tried out that gadget and they still like there leaf blowers compare to it. You can get a leaf blower for the same price and it will dry the car.
