Plastx Made A Mess on My Headlights
Plastx Made A Mess on My Headlights
I wet sanded with 1000, which really got rid of a lot of scratches, but when I applied my coat of Plastx it left my lights real streaky and not clear, it really pissed me off, just thought I'd vent and maybe someone can tell me how to fix this?
also, if it sits too long and you put a lot on it's hard to get it all off... spray a bit of quick detail on a micro fiber towel and wipe down... then wipe of excess you should be good to go.

I've never had a problem with the stuff either. I'm guessing the problem occured because the polish may have been used in temps below 60 degrees and/or the Plastic got caught up in the cuts of the 1000 grit swirels. What should have been done was a 1000 grit wetsand, then hit it with detail spray, then hit it with regular car polish. This has always worked for me. I use the Plastix in between.
