Scratch X can be found at which store easily? (I'm headed to Spring Break Nationals on Thursday... I have to move quick! LOL)

But I really would like to suck it up and get some real detailing stuff. Just because my whole car needs it. I wash it every weekend, use a detailer in between waxes, and wax it every 2-3 months.... but it's just lacking the true care that it needs. You know?

I had the same problem... now it's a few months later and there is no noticeable difference between where the emblem was and the rest of the paint.

Scratch-x can be found at just about any auto parts store or walmart/target. A good polisher and supplies is always a good thing to have though

Yup. I agree completely. When I get back from SBN, I'm going to go ***** out on the paint. She needs a little exterior, spring cleaning, TLC.

But I have to say, that except for the rock chips in my front bumper, my paint is in fantastic condition as far as scratches go. I have about 2-3 scratches 1" long that are just "scuff" status. It'll buff out when I take the time to do it. No door dings at all, nothing except for a blemish on my sideskirt which irritates the f*ck out of me.

I just took "INFINITI" letters off my trunk 2 days ago. I followed it up by polishing the section by hand with a little Monzerna IP with an orange pad and there is no trace at all that the letters were ever there.

the Menzerna final polish II will do the job without a polisher..then just follow it up with a sealant or wax and call it a day

I just debadged the Mt. Fuji and Infiniti emblems from an 05 trunk and have no shadows whatsoever. I did the "I" first to make sure. I guess I'm just lucky.

Good luck.

Yeah, well I have shadows. I tried Meguires Scratch X. Either I need to spend about 30 more minutes rubbing with that stuff, or just move to a pure polish and see what happens.

You spending money on a decent car is pointless. You should just ride a f*cking bike.

I debadge the trunklid because it the letters collect wax & polish. Plus it does look a lot cleaner.

true. But I doubt you would pull the horse off a ferrari, a bull off a lambo, or the wings off an aston martin.
