How dirty was your cabin filter when you replaced it?

How dirty was your cabin filter when you replaced it?

So the person who owned the G before me didn't do ANY maintenance on it. Is the cabin filter suppose to be this dirty when you replace it? The white paper is there for contrast. That is how white the original paper filter is.

BTW..just wait till you see how black the intake filter is tomorrow. My K&N/Z-tube should be here then.

my cabin filter was almost that nasty. Time to replace mine again

mine was gray.. not even black at all.. it had a couple of weird bugs and things in it though

how often are you suppose to replace it and is it easy? i know im overdue

Its extremely easy...literally took less than 15 minutes. You are suppose to replace it every 12K miles or 12 months. Here the install vid I used.

the get dirty quickly....
Mine actually had a mouse nest in it from the dealer

yup. you should replace it every 12,000 miles. u need to remove the glovebox housing to get to it

i bought a bosch one a few months ago... haven't replaced mine yet.
19k miles. i drive with the window open so kinda defeats the purpose..

P3784 $21.99 at murray's (Parts America).

will replace mine pretty soon.
