Water Spots on Chrome
These have been there for some time. So they are a pain to get out. I have searched on here and throughout the web. I have already tried vinager and chrome polish. One person suggested a brillo pad, but haven't tried it yet. Anything else out there?
Thanks for your response archie.

Try 50/50 water and vinegar usually cuts it, probably already etched in. If not in another thread someone stated they were going to give Chemical Guys Water Spot Remover, but hasn't posted feedback. It is not listed on www.chemicalguys.com for more information.
I tried distilled vinegar, no water mix with no result. I will try the 50/50 mix tomorrow. I tried the brillo pad thing tonight with no result. This stuff is beyond etched in. lol Anything else? Maybe something stronger?
I tried the 50/50 mix today with no result. I then dipped the brillo pad in the solution and used it and nothing. Now I am not scrubbing it hard, just the same pressure you would use to wash your car. Should I be pressing harder?
I had serious bad waterspot when I bought my 19 pem chrome rims. Use the powerball and mothers chrome polish. Remove all the waterspot.

I thought about using that because I have it for the plastic polish for my headlights...which works good.
I finally found something that worked. On expertvillage.com there was a detailer that walked you through how to detail your car. Each part of the car had it's own segment. He said to use a car wax (what you normally would use on your paint) and it will come off. He said it needed to be something that helped swirl marks/scratches. I used it along with a terry cloth and sure enough. With a little amount of scrubbing, it all came off. Here is the link to the guy...
