Tire Dressing/Wet Shine
Guys,
Don't know what the best product is, but I used to use Black Magic Wet Gel for my tires. Problem was that the gel just built up on the tires, probably from me not scrubbing it off between applications. I then switched over to Eagle 1 wet tire shine, but after driving the car (LP color), i have little black spots all over the side of the car from the tire shine. Thought it all dried up, but guess not. Just looking for new recommendations to prevent me from washing my car again after i just washed it due to tire wet products. Thanks.
Mike

yeah, i love black magic gel, but don't know if it's bad for the tires...anyone? i like it because i don't have to spray and then get tire shine all over my wheels, plus it's nice, thick, and gives a great shine!

I'm pretty happy with Poorboy's Bold and Bright as it gives it a non-greasy/non-oily shine that doesnt sling (I got it as a recommendation from Greg @ DI)... But I'm also looking forward to experimenting with others...
seems like they all do it. Ive tried them all.
lately i just went back to using formula2001 or whatever its called now. And rubbing it in really well, then going over it with another towel.
No sling, and a clean NOT wet look. Looks like new tires rather than wet, slick, greasy tires. lol.

thanks for all the feedback guys...i really do like the black magic gel, however if you don't scrub it off between applications, you will get a "nice" build up of gunk. i really do like the wet look. i'm gonna stick to that until i find something else. and as far as this poor boy's goes, i don't even think i've heard of it and i know i haven't seen it in any auto part stores i've gone to.
