Ok, so I have an ugly yellow painted pinstripe on my OB G. Now i went to about three mechanics and this is what they said.

500$- Pinstripe off, polish and compound entire car, it MAY leave an impression. NO guarantees

300$- Pinstripe off, it will leave an impression.

175$- Pinstripe off, it MAY leave an impression. NO guarantees



Now, I want this ugly thing off. But I dont want an ugly thing to turn into an even uglier impression of the stripe. What should I do!?!

i think you should talk to more shops. i don't know too much about painting things, but i would think they should be able to sand it down and repaint those areas

 

Just make them pull it off w/ the may leave impression.. Get some meguiars scratch X and buff the **** out of that area.. clay it.. do as much as possible to get it offf.
