Porter Cable at Lowes

FYI, the Porter Cable polisher/sander model 7336 sold at Lowes is exactly the same as the 7224. It DOES come with the white sponge pad. I think Lowes has Porter make special model sku just for them. I picked one up yesterday for $109.00. I verified its the 7224 and 7336 are the same just different modell numbers.

Re: Porter Cable at Lowes

Do you mean the 7424? Alot of times manufacturers will make different serial numbers for high volume retailers, to confuse us when trying to comparison shop!

The only diff between the two is the counterweight. 7336 is heavier.

Re: Porter Cable at Lowes

Where is a 20 percent off lowes coupon when you need it....

Does this thing come with instructions that may be useful for an idiot such as myself that has never done anything with a buffer in his life?

I was planning on practicing on my dad's daily driver ('94 taurus), but I'd still like some including instructions that aren't on the internet.

Thanks

Thanks for the link... I'm just wary of online sites cause so many of them contradict each other.

This site definately seems to be more "the authority" though.

Thanks.

I used this method below :

Not every method, but I did buy the orange pad/backing plate, and I must say it's an awesome pad. But I put the zaino on by hand.
