Headlight polishing(before & after shots)

So as anyone with a G or Z knows, there is an annoying hazy film that develops on our headlights that looks like it's on the inside but it's actually not. Well my friend had some of the worst hazing on his headlights I've seen yet. He's getting some eyelids for the Z and obviously didn't want to put them on top of nasty looking headlights so he hit me up asking if I could help. So I busted out an orange pad, SIP and away I went and here are the results....

Before

After!!

So there it is, they both came out looking brand spanking new. Here's a cool half and half of the other one...

Polishing half the headlight

This side not polished //////////////////////// This side polished

So there ya have it.

that looks amazing... I usually treat my headlights with Plast-X every once in a while in hoops of preventing that build up.

Wow that looks amazing. Even new my headlights look slightly hazy and it looks kinda like condensation on the inside. They actually look like glass in those pics.

Good work, you should wetsand them first to get rid of some of the pitting, then follow up with the machine polish

What grit paper would you use to wet sand?
