It was just my 'Motor Trend Car of the Year' one, but I'm ticked on principal. They never asked, and it took me a few months to even notice, but still! I was somewhat proud of that little thing, as in "darn right it was the car of the year".

I'm guessing it was required to be remvoed in order to do the tint job properly. I'd almost like to get a replacement one to go on again on top of the tint, but not sure where to get it or if it's worth it.

For those of you who's cars were tinted, did yours also get removed? Did you care?

Lastly, it was just a sticker right? Not a sprayed on image or etching? My mind is kinda fuzzy, but I'm pretty sure it was a small clear sticker with gold image and lettering.

is that the automotive equivalent of the stickers on a brand new vcr/dvd player/camcorder? i think so. if it took you that long to notice, i think you'll probably sleep fine tonight. contact infiniti corporate, i'm sure they have a bunch of them.

 

Yes, removing the stickers on glass is normal..........otherwise, over time the film could bubble up because it's not sitting on the glass. We normally tell our customers that it's necessary to remove any stickers off the glass before tinting over it.
