350Z engine cover

anyone know if the 350Z engine cover (aka heat hat) will bolt onto our G's??? i have a neat idea, but it is using the less covering Z version.....

anyone have any pix of one installed on the G also??

Thanks for the plug !! The link above is to my coupe with a Crawford, 350Z Tube and Stillen Box.

Check out my350z.com if you are looking for a used one that is where I found the one I modified. If you have not added a plenum (Crawford, Kinetix) it should be a direct bolt on. Just remember to keep your 4 rubber grommets and 4 metal inserts off you existing stock cover. Most of the 350Z guys are keeping them to use on their CF covers.

The "Z" cover will fit unless it's with the Crawford Plenum, then you would just have to cut a little material out to match up w/ the Crawfords new angular front section...........
You could always just cut your "G" engine cover & mount it in front of the Plenum like a "Z" cover...
