Re: Headlights look FRESH! Check them out!

yea, that orange dot in the headlights is what i wish i could get out. i seen a picture of someone's car after he cleared out the signals and it looked really nice. i just rather not open up my headlights if i don't HAVE to.
nice work on the lights...looks clean

Re: Headlights look FRESH! Check them out!

You can get them out but you will see the bulb, it looks weird. My lights, blacked out they are but still very stock looking. I was going for the Porsche Carrera GT look and I sure as hell got it!

Thanks - Joey Avino

I believe he's talking about the front blinker.

It does make a black sports coupe look real smooth.
Great job

Re: Headlights look FRESH! Check them out!

Yes I had to bake the lights to open them, bake the paint on so it dosen't chip and bake the housing unit back together. There is alot of ways you can mess up if you're not VERY careful .

Also I'm not changing any bulbs or amber covers in the car because I want to keep the lights stock looking. If I do anyones headlights and you want the bulb color changed or the amber piece removed just tell me.

Geo my bad I didnt mean to edit ur shizzle

Thanks - Joey Avino

hum....interesting you left the signal light piece silver. Looks interesting, He meant the amber piece as the orange dot. Did you use flat black?

Re: Headlights look FRESH! Check them out!

WOW! That looks fantastic, and the instructions in the other post look very thorough.

Moderators: It'd be great to add that post to the DIY (I checked real quick and didn't see it there), and even better if some pics could be added too.

We'll throw it in the DIY section-- good suggestion. Great-looking mod!
