not to intrude on your question to Jeremy, but i live in the northern suburbs of chicago. i have been pulled over once solely for my tints; and i showed him my doctor's note and return receipt that was sent to the secretary of state. he asked me if i had gotten any response from the sec. of state and i said no. he told me to put my front plate on and i drove off, w/o even a warning; which means nothing was noted in the system, not even the pull over.

i have driven by, in front of, behind and even next to cops with my tints and no problems. i have 21% all around, so they are noticeable.
