Detailed: 2008 Black G35 Sedan

Detailed a brand new 2008 G35 for fellow forum member. Condition was good for a new car. Still needed a multi-stage polish to remove the defects.

Wash
Prima Mystique Foam Cannon
Prima Mystique 2 bucket wash /w 3 lambswool mitts
CR Spotless final rinse - air dry

Wheels/Wells/Tires
APC+ on wells and tires
P21S Gel Cleaner on wheels

Clay
Adam's Purple Clay

Correction

Menzerna P0106FF - White Pad - 900-1200-900 rpm
Prima Finish - Black Pad - 900 rpm

Sealant
Zaino Z5pro /w ZFX - 3 layers

OMFG that is amazing. How much would it cost to get it detailed like that?

And what is that white stuff you put all over the car?

Also, didn't know those white marks were called holograms. I have several in the rear bumper.

It was a metal polishing MF for the exhaust pipes which accidentally fell on the floor.

That would be car soap from my foam cannon

Holograms are also called buffer trails. Holograms are created when using a High-Speed Rotary buffer and not following it up with a finer polishing step. The car was only 2 months old which means that the detailer at the dealership went over the car with a rotary and didn't bother to finish the job.

Started at 7:30 am...finished around 7:30 pm....actual work time was about 10 hrs.

I was used to my car with holograms and was expecting to see them once he got done, but none appeared! It definitely is a head turner. Great job dude.

Jesse, it was a pleasure working on your car. I am glad you are impressed with the results. Black looks amazing when cleaned up properly.
