Weird stuff on paint, any ideas?

This past weekend I went to get my car tinted..then the tint guy and myself found something weird on my paint.

We thought it might have been sap or just some weird poop..though no idea what it was. Tried clay barring it real fast, though no luck. (btw, got it washed right before I arrived, didnt come off) After my tint was finished...I drove down the street to one of his detail buddy, he had no idea either.

Was wondering if anyone could tell just by the picture.

The feel of it...kind of reminds me of the backside of scotch tape.

Was thinking if bringing it to a detailer anyways (when car got repaired, the guy doing it thought he was doing me a favor and 'waxed' my car, leaving swirls everywhere..) but not too familiar with any good detailer in North New Jersey.

now i have no idea what that is and since you've tried claying it, i think you should try chemical cleaners next. maybe even some diluted vinegar! if those don't work, i'm afraid you're going to need to bring it to a detailer with abrasive polishes

that is odd....but looks to be maybe some kinda adhesive.......looks to have a yellowish tint to it?...as far as getting it off......... i dunno maybe a polish as mentioned....or it just needs chipped off carefully..looks fairly thick?

Have you tried a bug and tar remover or aggresive clay ?

Thanks for the tips. Was thinking about using some diluted alcohol/vinegar, though afraid it may still be a bit strong and potentially hurt the paint.

I tried scraping it with my fingernails...even after like 2minutes of careful scraping, no luck. Perhaps time to visit the detailer like mentioned above.
