Tree Sap protection

So I am finally getting my car back next week and it cant go in the garage. We have the double trailer and jet skis there.

My husbands been complaining that hes been getting tree sap from this really big tree that basically covers our whole driveway.

What can I do besides a car cover and or park in the street?

Looks like it only drips on the top of the car and not the sides.

use a GOOD sealant to protect the paint and keep a fresh coat of wax on it monthly, that way, when the sap gets on the paint, it's not actually ON the paint but rather the wax/sealant which with some scrubbing should come off during a wash

(by no way am i saying i'm a pro though, that's just what i would do. I like to clean my own car, and sealants/waxes have made it soo much easier to maintain than to fix)
