Leather care and conditioning with a nice scent

Hi,

I am looking for a product that cares for the leather in my G35 Coupe while giving it a nice smell that stays for a few weeks until I redo it.

When I got the car, it was detailed at Infiniti about a month ago now, and it had this amazing great smell. Not the typical leather smell, but something a bit sweet yet not too bothering. I dont know exactly how to put it, but every morning when I got into the car, I felt really good.

Is there a good product you guys can suggest that will leave a nice scent while maintain the leather seats?

I asked the Infiniti shop, and while they didnt want to give out their Detail shop's name, they did ask what product was used on my car, and they said its called Waxoyl. I checked their products and in their line I only found one product that is used for interiors:

http://www.roversnorth.com/store/p-7...ml-bottle.aspx

Can anyone back this up? Could Waxoyl have really been the product used on my car?

If not waxoyl, what else would you suggest?

Thanks a lot,

Ben

Ben,

A great 1 step leather product that cleans, conditions, UV protects and has a pleasant leather scent is Poorboy's Leather Stuff. Most leather has a coating over it, so your main goal is to mildly condition, clean and most importantly, UV protect from fading.

I haven't heard of the Waxoyl line of products. If you end up trying it, keep us posted on how it works.

Hi All,

Thanks for all the input. For now, I purchased Zaino Z-9 and Z-10, and see how that works out. It will come by post to an American address, and then be forwarded to me to the UAE. Once it gets here, I post feedback.

I am also out on the market for the Waxoyl, as I liked the smell, but since noone confirmed its quality here, I am reluctant on getting it just yet.

Its always very difficult to get something shipped here to the UAE.

If someone by any chance have ever seen/felt the Waxoyl product, please chime in on this.

Thanks

Ben

If you are looking for a good leather conditioner with a great smell, definitely pick up some Zaino Z-10. It smells like fresh leather, I love it.

I have Zaino Z-9 and Z-10 on the way, should be getting it in about a week or two. I got Z-9 for cleaning the leather, and Z-10 for the smell.

Still, I liked the smell my car had after detailing more than real-leather smell. It was some scent I cannot describe, a combination of leather and some sweet-ish smell which made the car very pleasant to travel and sit in.

My research continues, and if I ever find it, I will post back. The problem is that the detailer's information is unknown, as Infiniti is not giving their name to me.

Does anyone have experience with Mothers Leather Conditioner? I've been using it regularly, and definately love the smell. But this thread may be swaying me to try something different...

Hi Guys,

I cannot believe it, while away on vacation, I got a call from the Mail forwarder, and they said Liquids are not allowed to be forwarded, and they destroyed the products. I am now back on the market searching for something.
