Foamaster ll Foam Gun. Any good?

I came across the Foamaster ll Foam gun. I was wondering what your thoughts were on it. Looks like it could save some time rather than the two bucket method(One with suds). Seems like it would help with reducing the chance of cantamination. It sparked intrest after watching numerous videos of "professional" detailers using a foam gun. So what are your thoughts on it and would you recommend it?

Thanks!

i think they had a post on this a WHILE back.... Some guy said he picked up a bottle of window cleaner from home depot for like 7 bucks (hooks on to your hose) and emptied it, and put car soap in there, and it did essentially the same thing

Maybe I am misinturpreting you. But I am not worried about what you put inside of it. I think, correct me if I am wrong though, you can use any quality/prefered shampoo in it. I am just wondering how the Foamaster works.

Thanks for your input though! Greatly appreciated.

EDIT** Sorry I did misinturpret you. I thought you ment putting "window cleaner" into the foamaster. But further reseach showed that it is another option to the foamaster. Looks like a good idea though.

Any more input?

I bought something from w*lmart that looks like it does the same thing. It's a nozzle with a reservoir for car soap. It seems to do the job and cost about 5 bucks

just go to the car care section at your local wakmart. It's a blue one with a selectable nozzle and a cylinder shaped cup reservoir that you can fill up with meguiars soap or whatever you use. It foams just like in the video of the foam master II. I'll try to take a pic of it later. I don't remember the exact price but it was about 5 - 10 bux. I bought three of em and gave two of em to friends.

Cool, I would appreciate a pic or link. I searched both walmart.com and .ca and was unable to find any sort of soap sprayer at all...

ok I just took pics of em. I was wrong the thing is black, not blue. It was my hose that was blue. Anyway here's how it looks like:

Theres a switch at the top that allows you to select just water or suds.
sorry for the delay hope this helps.

I am getting a Foamgun. Sure there are cheaper ways but it always seems to bite me in the butt when I go that route.
