Any suggestions on keeping the oem floor mats from wearing out due the heal of you shoe?

 

I bought the Infiniti all-weather mats for daily driving. Before then, I also took the mats out every other week and sprayed them down with Resolve and took a stiff brush to them. Keeps them nice and perfect.

Yeah, just do what GeoBau said, it's easier to replace a mat like that than the oem's!

i still have that plastic covering my floormats since i picked up my car. its annoying, but i don't want to mess up my floormats. [img]/w3timages/icons/tongue.gif[/img]
i figured after i take out the plastic and my oem floormats do get messed up, i'll probably just buy new ones later on. bah

cynicaL102, you could do like I did, and buy some ExactMats, they are clear, heavy weight vinyl, cut to fit the car, the oem mats then show through, I like mine!

I bought some custom fit clear floor mat covers, keeps all the crap off the mats. Looks pretty clean in my opinion.

I have the willow interior so its a biatch to keep cleaning them.

Just make sure you don't treat exactMats as all-weather mats-- they don't hold debris in them, nor moisture.. it will spill into your surrounding carpet.

They do, however, do a great job of protecting your car from everyday wear and tear and still allow you to see the material.

I agree that the OEM all weather are best for messy winters or heavy mud, but for fair weather protection I like this.

I sent an email asking for a dealer in the area, but what about cost? For anybody that got these for the G, how much was it?

I also like how the G (or some Infiniti) is the featured car in all the pics on the websites!

hmm, i just ordered my floormats through billy @ exactmats.
i only got the front and back mats without the trunk.
came out to a total of $62-63 dollars and i should be getting them around tues/wed next week.
i don't know why he gave me $124 quote for all of that. that's a big jump.
