How to get this junk off???
So I am cleaning my old car up so I can sell it and there is this stuff on the rear window molding that I cannot get off.
Here are some pictures any ideas?

It looks like it is on top of the molding and not down in the finish.

I don't have any pictures from far away sorry, but that molding is not painted. That molding is a really hard rubber, I was able to get a little of it off with some 409 and a tooth brush however that will take for ever. I didn't know if anyone had a product that would work better.

more pictures would help... i would suggest washing it well, then claying it (this will remove as much of the contaminants as possible, leaving a clean surface for the next step)... mother's 'back-to-black' or cg's 'fade 2 black' could work, but my understanding is that they tends to wear off after a few months... and if you want to spend the money, leatherique makes a black dye that would definitely work more permanently (but like most of leatherique's things, it's pricey)...
