will JDM (Japanese domestic market) part fit?

My head lamp is broken and I am looking for a JDM part to replace. The guy from junk car company ask for $1000 for a used one.. But the JDM part cost way less.
One concern, from the picture it seems that the plugs are different, so may require rewiring, but I am not sure..
Has anybody done this before or know such replacement thing? Thanks.

Check Ebay, single headlight assemblies can be commonly found in the $200 range.

Thanks blnewt, but the light in $200 range is without the adaptive lighting system, and such type is quite expensive both for new one and used one in US. that's why I look for a JDM part

The USDM parts can be found for way less than your junk yard guy suggested. Here is a brand new, complete, factory part (w/adaptive control) for $873. Still quite expensive, but significantly cheaper than $1000 for a used one.
