Can anyone tell me what takes out dog nail scratches. I pulled up to a friends house last night, and the damn dog jumped on my car...I about cried. I need something to take the very fine scratches out...do you recommend Zaino?

OHH MAN!! You remind me so clearly of what happened to me when I got my brand new Eclipse Spyder in 1997. At the time I was dating this girl (who is now my wife by the way), I had just got the car for 2 days. Pulled up to her house, and her Rott/Shepard mix jumped ALL over the hood of my beautiful cayenne red convertible (think Garnett Fire color for the G Sedan). I was SO F*' PISSED. I got a professional detailer to come by the next day.. The first thing he said was "is the dog still alive?". I was so sad. He tried to buff out as much as he could. A lot of it came out, but some fine scratches were still evident, but I could live with it. I suggest you take it to a professional detailer, or have a respected mobile detailer come and take a look for you. At worst, you repaint the entire hood I guess. Welp, it's only a car (crying). Sorry, I totally feel your pain.

Zaino doesn't remove scratches, it just helps to make them less visible.

If you want to remove them you need to polish them out. You might try a cleaning wax, or try 3M Swirl Mark Remover for Dark Colors (since your G is Twilight Blue). Check out the how-to's at autopia.org to learn more.

Have a professional detailer take a look for you. Scratches need to be buffed out w/ a high-speed buffer w/ several different padding and chemicals to bring the paint finish back to where it was before.

Same thing happened to me at an automotive business. Of course my luck the dog was a stray. The scratches are still right by the drivers door handle. Even worse, the second day I had my car I went to open my door to get in and my wedding ring put a big scrape in the paint. I used the dealership touch-up kit, but it still shows. I haven't worn it since. If one more thing happpens it will be worth taking it in to a professional.
