I’ve been looking at all the threads on clear bra’s and I still have some questions.

1. Will my paint look two-toned after a few years. (either fading or its luster).

2. Will the material rip, or get deformed from debris/bugs, thus making it visible.

3. How long do you think it will last.

4. I will be putting it on Black Obsidian coupe. Does black show the lines more than other colors?

5. Are they any other concerns/pitfalls I should know about before plopping down my money.

I'm debating whethere to get one myself or not. Seems that price of bumper install costs as much or more than a new bumper itself, so this seems kinda pointless.

I might just do the hood, lamps and front fenders and see how that goes.

I read on FA today that bird poop can "etch" the film, leave an impression, if the poop isn't removed fairly quickly.

'03 G35S Desert Plat

 

On a White car, the 3M material can appear slightly yellow with UV exposure over time. Less or even not noticeable on other colours. I heard that Avery's product, 'Stone Shield' (?) doesn't yellow.
I have the Ivory Pearl G and I have the 3M on it.
