Benefits of smaller pads on a Porter Cable 7424 and Rotary Buffers

I will have to look into getting these. Do you need to adjust your PC speed? I usually use Menzerna products.
Thanks,

^ Scratch
^ Wetsanded out
^ Polished back
I have had many people tell me how frustrated they were with the PC and the 6.5 pads; these definately make a huge difference. Although I will probably still need a rotary some point down the road.

Typically, you'd use the same speeds polishing, usually 5 or 6, for correcting paint imperfections. The biggest benefit of the smaller pads is to get more bite out of the PC, so you wouldn't want to lower the speed. You will notice that it breaks the polishes down faster than with larger pads. You should see quite a dramatic improvement coming from 7.5" pads on a PC.
If you have any other questions on anything, please do not hesitate to ask.
Asad - Excellent work on that scuff, looks like new!

Yeah,
I used the 6.5" pads - went orange with SIP and white with PF106ff and am still getting some hologramming.
Just ordered a set of 2, 4" orange and 2, 4" white pads + 4" backing plate from detail image, and am hoping that re-polishing with pf106ff on the white pad with the 4" setup will remove the holograms.
Do you recommend that I re-run the entire process? i.e. SIP/Orange on 4" then pf106ff/white again? or will the pf106ff/white one last time on 4" pads do the trick?

Let us know what you end up using and how it feels vibration wise.
