Waxing/Buffing

Anyone got a tutorial on waxing and buffing with a buffer?

My dad has a craftsmen grinder deal that i bought some buffer pads for, but im not exactly sure on the proper technique/waxs.

I just took some normal Megiers gold class and put it on the hood lightly, then just buffed it up.

Anyone want to chime in with some helpful info?

I always hand buff and id like to start using a buffer.

I would stay away from that unless you really know what you are doing with that. You could burn right through the paint. Unless your a pro or really know what you are doing, stick with a Porter Cable or any Dual Action polisher.

^+1 using a rotary when you don't know what you're doing is asking for big trouble. It's way too easy to damage the paint.

+ 2, stay away from using a rotary Janik, it's definitely not the type of machine you should be learning on.
