airbrush touch up?
airbrush touch up?
Has anyone gotten this done with good results? I just valet parked my car at a restaurant and they scratched my front bumper. the scratch is about 4-5 inches long and about 2-3 mm wide. i want to get it fixed because its so noticeable on the ivory pearl color. any suggestions? recommend a good place in LI/NYC area. Thanks.
Re: airbrush touch up?
I don't have any recommendations but the dealer scratched my bumper off the truck and I think that they did a similar procedure to fix it. I coouldn't tell at all that it had been scratched.

Re: airbrush touch up?
What exactly is an air brush touchup, and how would I go about finding someone who knows how to do it? I've run over a few curbs, and it sounds like a good way to fix my bumper.
Re: airbrush touch up?
from what i read about it, what they do is fill the chip or scratch to give a smooth surface if its deep. then they spray over it to blend the paint in the area. then clearcoat it. any overspray is then wetsanded. it seems like a good way to repair small scratches and chips. i think alot of dealerships offer it. i am just going to stop by a few reputable body shops and some good detailing places to see if they can do it.
