New Car Waxing ?

So what is this I hear about not waxing a new car until the paint has time to cure? I'm not sure where I heard this but it was said that if you wax new paint it will block uv that is necessary for curing. Is this bs or true?

Re: New Car Waxing ?

When a car is first painted you need to allow it to cure. Usually a couple of months. This applies mainly to cars painted after a repair. Our cars are painted in Japan and then take a while to get to us. Wax away!!
