Anyone use Maaco?
Anyone use Maaco?
Hi all, I unfortunately scrapped my front bumper and need to get it painted. I went to 2 other places and they both quoted me close to $1000. Some of the items were not needed, like repair fender (fender is not broken), full custom pinstripe (for what? the scrap is no where near my pinstripe). I told the guy at Maaco I just want to get it painted and obviously look original; he quoted me $250-300. I have Ivory pearl.
I just want to see if anyone has used them and what they thought. I understand cheaper is not necessarily better, especially when it comes to my "G", but saving $700 means I can get my plenum faster. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Here is what the damage looks like....

Re: Anyone use Maaco?
The reason why they wanted so much was to blend it into the front fender. If you just paint the bumper it might not match. You will wish you paid for the blend later on, trust me. Everytime you look at your car you will say man I wish I pid for that blend.
